Grand Army of the Republic Hall and Museum
GAR Building

The Grand Army of the Republic Hall is an historic building located at 58 Andrew Street here in Lynn. The hall was built in 1885 by members of the GAR as a memorial to the Union Army veterans of the Civil War. It was one of many such halls built in the country. On May 7, 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Lynn Auditorium is one of Lynn's cultural center pieces  From state of the art lighting and sound systems, to new curtains, seats, rigging, loading docks and lifts, the auditorium has jumped back onto the scene as the oldest yet newest premier entertainment venue on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Besides offering fantastic views of our City, High Rock Tower is home to the City's large 12 inch Meade telescope with lenses powerful enough to view the rings of Saturn, Jupiter and her moons, galaxies, star clusters, nebulae and many other wonders of the night sky.

The High Rock Observatory enables visitors to investigate the craters, valleys and hills of the moon’s surface, distinguish between the different star formations and obtain a better appreciation and understanding of basic astronomy.

The Gannon Golf Course
Gannon Golf Course

The Gannon Municipal Golf Course is an 18-hole course and features 6,106 yards of golf. The course rating is 69.9 and it has a slope rating of 118 on Blue grass. Designed by Richard Styles, the Gannon Golf Course opened in 1931.
